Advent

Dippy was up early, excited to open the first window of the Advent Calendar;)
We had fun unblocking and making the stream move through the meadows with more of a flow. Twigs, logs, leaves etc has slowed down the flow of water allowing the fine silt to build up and waterlog the surrounding areas. It sounds better now too in my opinion. Water tank refilled and toilet emptied before a breakfast of poached eggs and buttered sourdough bread.
A trip to Barnstaple looking for a new pull switch for my bathroom lights proved fruitless as the camping/caravan shop was closed for training.
Dippy and I had fun looking around the craft fair in the Pannier market, it was really well attended and lots of wonderful local art for sale. Made a few interesting purchases and will keep them too secret for when I need an emergency Blip.:))
A steak, lamb and pigs kidney casserole/stew was enjoyed by both Dippy and I. Some reading and organising paper work before a few important phone conversations preceded Zzzzzzzz time.
