Kew Gardens

Hot day and decided to get on the train out to Kew. My first visit for many years. Fantastic gardens and greenhouses and lots of space to wander about. Place was packed with school kids on various trips. I particularly liked the bonsai trees and some of the herbaceous planting, though the garden would be much better if it wasn't on the flight path for Heathrow. Nevertheless a very worthwhile visit and good shops for Mrs St Swithin to explore.
