A winter garden. Still filled with colour.
I had a walk up the road this afternoon to see our friends, and had a good catch up and mug of tea, The time always goes so quickly when the conversation is easy.
I really like their garden, and today I said “First of all I am going to take a photo for my Blip journal”.
“There’s nothing to see at the moment as there’s no colour” said my friend’s husband,
After I’d taken the shot through their patio window I showed it to him,
“ It looks lovely, “ came the reply!
“That’s because you do not see it as I do” I said,
I’ve emailed it to them once I’d walked back home.
Stephen has been ensconced all afternoon here with another of our friends who has just recently sold her house, and made an offer on another one,
There is so much paper work to go through, that she messaged last night and asked if he could help.
So he has been helping her go through all the questions and legal stuff, being a lawyer. (Now retired).
It is now almost time for tea.
The Christmas tree has one or two more decorations hanging on the branches.
Various other bits and pieces from the things which were packed away last year are now being brought out of hibernation, like decorative strings of lights among them.
I made sure last year that we had loads of spare batteries!
I think I overdid it somewhat!
Today we had our first Christmas card.
