Conker - no rainbow

I had an early meeting today so I skipped my bike ride and took the dog for an early walk. When I arrived to pick up the dog there was a magnificent rainbow behind this tree and it tried to rain on us on our walk. When the dog had been deposited back with his mother, I took a picture of the tree. The rain had stopped - it never really started - and the rainbow had gone.

I dashed home, grabbed a brew and breakfast for my meeting only to discover it wasn't early, and I needn't have rushed about after all!

As you can see the conker tree has basically no leaves now - but it appears to have a fairly fat looking pigeon.
