Cathedral in winter light
This morning I spent a third(!) Christmas card writing session with my mother, which we wound up just before the daily Sherry Social. When I saw the enormous glass of sweet sherry she was given before her lunch, I was glad I had visited this morning as I'm not sure her concentration and dexterity would have been so good this afternoon.....
After my more abstemious lunch, Martin drove me across town to the bike shop so I could collect my e-bike and ride it home after its service. The brakes and gear changing felt much improved.
I stopped in the city to do some shopping and thought the cathedral looked especially stunning lit by the low sun.
The blip shows the Norman central tower and North transept.
