Storm Bert was here

A surprise visit from my brother Rog at Mum's this morning. He brought a bag of jam doughnuts (yum) & a Lindt chocolate Xmas advent calendar which he'd tried to deliver yesterday when Mum was up with me. He had coffee while I made Mum's breakfast, then we had a chat while I pegged out Mum's laundry. All good.
Definately cooler today, with occasional glimpses of blue skies, & light showers. Indie & I did our lap of the heath.
Doughnuts had'nt been touched while I was away, & were delicious with coffee. Mum & I spent an hour on the jigsaw puzzle while I cooked her lunch.
Home for lunch, then drive hubby to the doctors surgery in BT t have his latest wounds checked & redressed. Called into Mum's on the way home to pick her washing in & get it on the clothes airer.
I made a tasty beef noodle soup for dinner so hubby was happy....... I think. :-)
