Yesterday we went to the Usher Hall to see the Hungarian Radio Orchestra and Jeneba, the fifth of the seven talented musical Kanneh Mason siblings, play Chopin. Today we returned there to hear the second of organ recitals in two days. Like yesterday’s organist at St Giles, John Kitchen who is the City Organist is very talented. He played organ solos, accompanied the choir and three audience participation carols and entertained us with his medley of different variations of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. This photo shows the members of the Edinburgh University Choir coming onto the platform before their conductor, Calum Robertson and John Kitchen.
Edit Flumgummery's blip is a better representation of the choir.
