Knit One, Purl One, Drop One, Curl One

The needles are out in force in these parts.  Lots of lovely post box toppers.  I stop for a photo whenever I see one.  I spotted a new one on the way back from the local shopping centre and pulled up.   

I think they're stretching it a little with their reimagining of the Christmas story or the knitter assigned to this box took her (you know it is) eye off the ball, left it too late and tacked some holly and stars on the Easter Bunnies she had left over.  Mind you, who are we to say the stable in Bethlehem wasn't running alive with rabbits?
