The Jugged Hare

Conveniently located for the Barbican, and it might be the closest pub to where I'm staying ..

A more or less dry walk to Waverley. The train was quiet when it left Edinburgh, getting much busier as it went South. Most of England looked very flat, grey and waterlogged. It was brighter in the City when I got out of the Tube. 

Found the flat after a wander.  Went over to the Barbican to walk around its maze of high level paths. It is just as much of a maze as I remember; it does have slightly better signposts than it used to. 

Various meetings for the next few days confirmed.
