before coffee this morning. 
Errands done. I'm free!

I was out the door at 6:30 in the dark. I caught a couple of photos from my driveway before I left the yard. My surprise was finding so many of the neighbours' Christmas lights were still shining as I drove away.

The grocery store was rather quiet this morning. I like that. Most of the people I encountered were staff restocking the shelves and freezers. 

I stopped in the lane behind the grocery store for some quick shots of the light coming up over the Gila Mountains. As much as I complain about 'useless' palm trees in landscaping, they do make rather nice additions in photos. 

The forecast for the week is sunshine all the way.....I need to get out with my camera and sketchbook. I'm feeling very stalled and I need to get over it.
