I had a quick trip
around my neighbourhood, but
I was home for lunch

I was sipping my coffee before the sun appeared. I had to wait for the bank to open before running my errands this morning.

I took shots of the buildings I most frequent while here. The first stop was my bank. Chase is one of the big ones with many branches where I travel. Very handy for me.

I topped up my tank across the road. My grocery store owns these gas pumps and the rewards card saved me $0.60 a gallon today. Filling my tank cost me less than $30 US.

I treated myself to brunch at Denny's, a chain restaurant. It's cheap and cheerful. Also, it's handy as it's right across the street from my bank.

Then I drove two blocks to the strip mall where I stopped at the health food store and the dollar store.

It's all busy now as the snowbirds are in evidence.  Traffic is heavier and I move about with more caution. So much of the population during the winter is people in retirement. D used to say, "Watch out for these old people! They are terrible drivers!".

I'm in with my feet up and here I will remain.
