NEW SPECIES - - GRAY WHEAT

It's Mono Monday and the challenge is RAIN/GRAIN.

This is most certainly a grainy portrait of wheat on the stalk.  I know most Europeans refer to all "grains" as corn; we stateside types think corn is a whole other thing (Zea maize) and we differentiate grains into specific types i.e. rye, oats, wheat, etc.
