Standing on the Northern Slopes
A little bit of waste ground just behind my GP’s building. After my appointment - where I discovered I need an endoscopy - which doesn’t sound nice - I had a little wander to see if I could get my blip for the day.
I’m looking north west. If you have very good eyesight you can see, from left to right along the skyline:- Clifton Suspension Bridge, the steeple of Christ Church, the towers of the Roman Catholic Clifton Cathedral, and Cabot Tower on Brandon Hill
I had a busy day doing chores, including a satisfying trip to the tip aka recycling centre.
In the late afternoon I went to see Conclave with my film friend H. It was surprisingly good - I found out it was based on a Robert Harris novel which explains why it’s such a rattling good yarn. And Ralph Fiennes is excellent in it. A bit like other good actors, it’s mostly in his face.
