Old age luncheon

A slightly frosty start to the day, but turning warmer and slightly wetter! After a couple of hours dealing with indoor stuff I set off down town to join my fellow members of Oban u3a. If anyone doesn't know what u3a means, it stands for the 'University of the Third Age' - in other words, learning groups for old codgers! 

We were having our Christmas lunch today in the Royal Hotel. Quite a good turnout - we have some 130 members in Oban though I doubt they were all there. Traditional Christmas lunch and plenty of time to chat.

It was raining lightly as I walked home - I had a couple of offers of a lift, but I needed the walk!
