A day in the life

By Shelling

Kalmar evening

2 degrees "warm", drizzle, northern wind, those are the conditions today. Room for a lot of work indoors, but in the evening I had tickets for a release of a new book at one of the two bookshops. The book is a historical chronicle about about the family of Kullzén, their time and their house, built in the late 17-hundreds and after the Kullzén family died away in 1980-something, the house is now protected by law as a culture-object and may not be altered. These days the hosts a couple of small shops but mainly a well visited café. One of the guest artists at the book-release was Signe, the doll, and her keeper Lasse. I've written more about them here

Every time they appear somewhere the house is full, they are a true evidence that we need storytellers.

Kalmar has got some Christmas-lights up, they certainly brighten things up, especially on an evening like this.
