Pulling the blinds down

For years we dithered over replacing our kitchen blinds. Then we were forced to do so after a hefty pull on my part brought them down.
 
This afternoon Ross, the blinds fitter, replaced them all in ten minutes. And I found myself asking:” what kept us?” it’s always the case isn’t it once you decide and it is executed you wonder what all the procrastination was about.
 
Now we must find a painter and decorator for the kitchen since neither of us are into climbing ladders these days. Fortunately, a neighbour has a son with a friend who is a painter and
and decorator. 

(Oh yes, the blinds company is run by another neighbour who gave us a 10 per cent discount.)
