Lobster trap tree
I drove out to Eastern Passage tonight to get a photo of the lobster trap tree. This is built every year to honor the lobster fishermen that call Eastern Passage home.
I went out for a late breakfast with the travel/social group, there were 15 of us there, so a good sized group. I heard that there was some drama in the group a couple of weeks ago. Fortunately Stephen kept it off the group page. A few people were kicked out of the group, but when they confronted him, he let them back in. Some of the ones that were kicked out were some that I have some history with from 15 years ago. I am polite with them, but I will not be buddy buddy with them. There are others in the group that I do like to talk to, and I sit with them at different events.
When I moved, one of the pins that holds a shelf in place on a bookcase fell out in the truck. I noticed it missing before the movers left. He said he would get another one, then he found the missing one when he swept out the truck. He said he would get it back to me, but so far he has not, and he is not answering his messages either. I will have to find his phone number and call him tomorrow. I want to finish putting my bookshelf back together.
The owner may not get the spray foam insulation after all, she may just get the blown in insulation. It gives the same R value and it is cheaper. Hopefully they will do the blown in insulation either Friday or Monday, and if they do, it means I can stay here over the weekend.
