Halifax waterfront
A busy day. I met with Stephanie first thing to go over with her the areas that needed to be raked again on a job we did last week on a windy day. Then over to Halifax to put a cover on a rhododendron that needs some winter protection. Back to Dartmouth to go for a walk at Shubie. I came home, had some lunch, then Alan came over to get caught up on his treasurer duties with the brunch group. I found homes for a few more plants in the living room and worked on getting some things on the built in bookshelves in the living room.
I had looked at the weather forecast to see when would be a good time to go to the Evergreen Festival on the Halifax waterfront. Today looked like the best day between now and Dec 15th when it ends. So I left around 4:15 to catch the ferry across the harbor. I found out today that if you get a transfer when you take the ferry across, then it can be used for the return trip. So I only had to pay one fare.
Rain in the forecast for tomorrow, so I plan to stay home. I will get some Christmas lights around the kitchen windows, and maybe a few other decorations put out too. Plus I want to get some of my pictures and shelves hung on the walls.
