A hike up the Lyell

This afternoon we decided to walk the Lyell walkway, in the Buller Gorge. The weather behaved itself, although there was evidence that it had been rather wet and windy in the past few days, with trees down over the track, and on one section, a whole tree trunk and its roots had slipped onto the track. We had to do some creative climbing to get over it, and continue with our walk.
