This is getting a bit tedious…
Another night of constant coughing! I may have dozed off for an hour or so, but this is not right! The medication is ghastly enough, it should be doing some good.
I rang re the chest xray. Not till next week.
JR could not be bothered going to her gym sessions today, and cancelled them in the early hours. That’s a first! She then went off into town on a mission.
Archie and I took a walk round Bruntsfield, we were tempted in to the little French bakery, for my favourite - torte aux framboises. (I had already taken a slice before I thought to take a photo…)
Back home, I watched a couple of episodes of ‘A House Through Time’ with David Olisoga. He’s done several series of these, but this was different - he studies a block of middle class flats in London, and a comparable block in Berlin. Fascinating, how he searches through all sorts of records to find out about the folk who lived in each flat just before the outbreak of WW11. He follows what happened to each family. In the Berlin block lived Jews and also members of the SS.
I think I’ll try sleeping propped on several pillows tonight.
