Back in the late 1990s and early 2000s, I (Chris) like many others got caught in the camcorder bug and this is my miniDV device from back then. It’s sat in a drawer with a few tapes for many years. It still turns on but seems unhappy so we’ve decided to not risk trying to play the tapes in it and instead send off the tapes and get them converted to a digital media we can actually access!! Fingers crossed the footage will have survived, we will see.
