York

We got a train from Hammerton to York which took about 20 minutes. Amongst other things we visited the NT Treasurer's House which is just beside the Minster. It was nice to see it all dressed up for Christmas. 
Lots of the shops were lovely and sparkly so I enjoyed browsing but we didn't actually buy much.
Train home before another relaxing evening.
