Castle Howard

I could easily have used all my extras up today as I took so many photos! 
First we went to Malton, the Yorkshire food capital, where we had a delicious lunch and browse in the lovely shops. We had stayed here in September 2020 which was a very strange 'Covid' holiday so it was great to see it thriving again. 
Then as an early Christmas present we went to Castle Howard. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is the theme for this year's Christmas installation and it is absolutely brilliant. There is so much to look at in each room it's impossible to take it all in. Although we were there later in the day it was still busy but easy enough to move around. We heard a guide say there had been 3000 people there last Saturday!
