The volunteers

DWT volunteers were hard at work clearing gorse, bracken & brambles on the heath this morning, my repurposed redundant bra still in place as a tree tie :-D.
A bit of a challenging morning at Mum's, the muddled mind. :-(
Gardened for G&J in the afternoon. George ventured out and sat in the greenhouse for a chat, but was shooed back indoors by Jean as it really was'nt warm enough. Lovely to see him though. I pruned the grapevine, swept out the greenhouse, planted up pansies in tubs, pruned and swept up the leaves on the paths. Getting dimpsy so time to call it a day.
Indian pickies (samosas, onion bhajis, & sag aloo from Tesco's) plus I made Bombay, or should that be Mumbai, potatoes? Mint & cue raiti, tom, onion, & fresh coriander chutney, & naan to accompany. Delish! I'll say it myself coz hubby did'nt utter a word. Hey ho!!
