Perth Skyline
I caught the ferry from Elizabeth Quay to South Perth today to attend a lunch with some of my old school friends from Methodist Ladies College. It was a really lovely day and I was so pleased I.was home in time from NZ to attend. I’ve added an extra of four of my friends, as you can see they’re a pretty happy lot. The ferry ride was free on my Transport WA Seniors Card, you’ve got to love that :).
I loved my time at MLC and made friends wth a lot of the girls their today even though I was a day girl and they were boarders. I used to stay behind most afternoon to play sport, so really got to know them better than a lot of the others. Turns out that I’m the first day girls to infiltrate their very close group of friends. I felt very privileged to be part of such a happy group.
This is a view taken from the ferry of the city skyline. It’s changed so much since I left WA over 45 years ago. By the way, every time I arrive at the wharf I think of you. Par1. That’s where we had a blipmeet when you were in Perth :)
