Kitchen Monitor

Another back Blip from South Africa, We were camping at De Hoop National Park, a wonderful campsite over looking a Lagoon with Flamingos, Pelicans and lots of other birds, and a short drive to the shore where Southern Right Whale were breaching. On our last morning one of the staff came into the camp kitchen where I was doing the dishes and asked if I had seen the snake.... What snake I asked... "The Boomslang that lives here"... I looked up and there it was tucked up in the rafters 6 feet from my head,. (((shudder))), This picture was taken from a LOT further away with my longest lens and then enlarged... that was quite close enough!
