Today's the day ....................... to decide

Thank you very much for all your considered comments on yesterday's blip.  I read them all with interest - and appreciated that you took the time to write them.  It was good to have all the various views on the Christmas Card dilemma.

So, after much thought and in-house debate, we've decided to make our own card (as we always have) and send it to a reduced number of people - mainly those that we don't have an email address for but with whom we'd hate to lose touch.  We won't send any cards overseas because the postage really is prohibitive.  

And with that all sorted - this afternoon we went to the annual Christmas Carol Singing and Story-telling event at NTS Broughton House in Kirkcudbright.  It's always a lovely afternoon - with mulled wine and mince pies - and it marks the start of the festive season for us.
