A blink of sunshine

I really am having a sociable week. Today, I was out for lunch at the Western Isles Hotel in Tobermory with three friends. Three of us were treating our older 91 year old friend for her birthday but it was a bit of a battle to stop her from paying for us for “going to the bother of taking her out”. She is such an independent lady, it is very difficult to do anything for her, but she is excellent company and we all had a most enjoyable time.
After lunch we hit the shops and it was while I was about to leave one shop that the sun burst through the clouds and lit up Calve Island and Tobermory Main Street very briefly and I managed to grab my blip.
