Being creative
Our hydrangea wreaths were mostly round when we’d finished. The main thing was that much fun was had by all!
I still have to add a festive red bow to mine. Someone did tie one for me, but amidst the turmoil and hurly-burly (sounds like a speech from the Scottish play) it has got mislaid.
Today finds us up to our ears in renovations! Two van loads of expert ‘tradesmen’, more precious than gold, are here at the moment. We’re having a stud wall put up (mostly done) and our en suite bathroom refurbished. The downstairs loo was also meant to be redone but unfortunately that’s a step too far for our team, who will return in January to finish that. They still have a kitchen refit to do, complete with knocking down walls to create a large, open space. To be finished before Christmas! So I understand that our little loo is not a priority for them.
I’m off to a twilight market this evening, which should be nice. The festivities begin!
