Friday 6th December 2024...

This afternoon was the Annual Bush Turkey 1km team relay...
To be a Bush Turkey men have to ran a sub 20 min 5km and a lady has to run a sub 22 min 5km... So they are all FAST...
4 colours - black, white, red and yellow, all colours found on a Bush Turkey...
This year their was 8 runners on each team...
It's a lot of fun and team tactics of who runs in which order which is a closely guarded secret till the next runner steps up for the button change over... it was pretty close with the lead changing between all 4 teams but it was the 7th runner for each team that sealed the finish order...
1st White, 2nd Black, 3rd Red and 4th Yellow...

I was the timekeeper for the Red team...
Afterwards we went to the local hall and enjoyed pizza and drinks and after9pm they were kicking on at a nearby house of one of the running couples...
