Exhibition

Back to the High Cross centre to see if the exhibition that J wanted to show me was open. It was. A very thoughtful and thought provoking exhibition about domestic violence that included not only work made by those being abused but also by children growing up in this situation and the effects on them, also groups of children to learn about what makes healthy friendship relationships. And then what I found really unexpected was a small section showing some of the work being done with abusers to encourage them to recognise, take responsibility for and change their abusive behaviour. Like a I said - very thought provoking.
