Getting Christmassy!

JR gave her gym visits another swerve this morning - her voice was getting very croaky last night. But it seems OK today.

She went off to the supermarket, came back and made a delicious beef & Guinness hot pot in the slow cooker. It smells delicious, but it’ll be stashed away to be whipped out as needed when our visitors are here.

She also polished the brasses on the front door - first time ever, and they’ve come up well.

I did my bit in the front garden, clearing away the acer trees leaves and sweeping up.

JR then went off on another Christmassy pressie hunt, and Archie and I walked round to Bruntsfield to get into a festive mood.

I haven’t had any violent coughing fits today, (but I’m still coughing), so I’m hoping it’s a sign I’m getting better…
