Jostle Stones
I've got a horrible cough so didn't get out with the camera. I had to do the weekly shop, which was an ordeal. I took the camera with me and got the above emergency blip as I got out of the car to open the gate.
Our road used to be a country lane but is now a busy thoroughfare. In the foreground of my image are two granite jostle stones. These are from the days when carts used to ply up and down the lane. They have a curved face towards the carriageway and deflected cart wheels from walls and gateposts to prevent damage.
