Leafy faff

The leaves are looking so beautiful I felt compelled to collect some on this mornings walk. Cotoneaster, bramble, Hazel, & Spiraea plus ivy & euonymus berries.
Got Mum organised on my arrival, made her breakfast, then set off around the heath with Indie. Spotted a few green woodpeckers on the heath. Plenty of deer footprints. More ash trees marked for felling.
I did a batch cook this morning, 6 cottage pies, 1 for Mum's lunch, 5 for the freezer.
Back home for lunch with hubby before driving him out to BT for his apt with the nurse. His arm is healing well, so might not need his next apt in a weeks time. A few jobs at home on my return. 3 St Paula leaves that I am trying to propagate for hubby have'nt moved. He's getting a bit iffy & asked me to put them in fresh soil, so did that. I don't know why they are'nt doing something???? He's got 6 flowering potfuls so can't understand why he wants more.
I made a banana flapjack traybake using up a couple of very ripe bananas, added a handful of mixed seeds & berries. Yum!
