Morris On

Good to see youngsters performing with the Chobham Morris Team this evening. Keeping the tradition alive. It was Light Up Chobham, when the Christmas Tree lights are switched on at the entrance to the High Street. Unfortunately I couldn't get down to the village in time for the big switch-on, so don't know who the celebrity was who did the honours. By the time I made it to the High Street after running Jen to the station (she's meeting her sister in Hammersmith to see comedian Mo Gilligan at the Apollo Theatre), everything had ended, so my usual indulgence in freebie sausage rolls, mince pies and mulled wine at Chobham's Christmas curtain opener never happened.
