or so I keep telling myself - and others are having a far worse time.

After replacing the starter battery in the car the motorhome has decided it would like a new one too ... just rather bigger and so more costly.

These are the two ex-car batteries - at least the DVM confirms they don't hold a charge as well as they once did.
I'll let (and pay for) a mobile mechanic swap out the motorhome one,  its rather bigger and heavier to move, and they will deal with recycling the old one.

Fortunately for us - not that much consequence from the storm,  just a lot of small tree debris on the roads and one half blocking a road.
On the positive:  the memory trees at the church were all still upright when I went by, our son has his dishwasher, and the plumber improved on my quick fix to his leaking sink waste.
