Christmas cards are rolling in of course and we have just posted ours.
But here is something a little different which arrives at this time each year.
I can enjoy some pleasure looking to see what new succulents I can try to grow next year.

Thanks to everyone for the kind comments about our neighbours accident yesterday. Unfortunately  she did indeed break her hip and the latest news is that the hospital planned to operate this morning. 
Her son arrived yesterday evening which will be a comfort for her.
It is not good news for someone who lives alone however.
But how fortunate that the alert device on her wrist worked. It is frightening to think of her situation if it had not done so.
