A Rose By Any Other Name

What have I done today? ..... Hmmmm

Well, we went to collect SWMBO's new glasses.
After that we went to speak to Bags  - but she wasn't in. The Cygnet was. His voice has broken in the last week!
We got a visit from Bags later.
I took loads of close-ups of the one remaining rose (which only just made the cut). It is amazing how many colours you can get a flower to have when you start mucking about with exposure times and f-stops.
I took some pictures of the smoke coming from the builds on the industrial unit about a mile away...... It was BIG, started in a unit next door to where a load of children were doing their gymnastics class and spread rapidly. Luckily nobody was hurt - despite the windows blowing out just as the kids left the building. The smoke could be seen from Leith, 20 miles away but it would appear to have been completely under control with no smoke issuing within half an hour or so.

Todays whisky will be Chivas Regal.
