The leaves come down

I looked out at 6.45 am and there were leaves all over the road. This photo was taken at 8.45 am and leaves were all over the lawn. I did venture out to the post office and battled the wind to get there, at times was actually stopped by a gust. Coming home I saw that as the wind gusted the leaves were blown off my lawn under the hedge and into the road. It would be nice if they all went so I don't have a job tomorrow. 
I'm out tonight at a carol concert, thankfully I'm getting a lift as I wouldn't want to drive up the motorway in this wind.
