Lap of luxury

I missed the best possible picture by seconds because of getting my phone out to take a picture. The brown and white cat sensed there was someone close and did a big stretch.

We have so many stray cats downstairs. I guess they help keep the vermin down. The white cat is often on its own and has a special tile that it sleeps on. Nothing bothered it - not even people walking past, sometimes very close to it.

Then the carpenter's shop packed up and someone left this posh chair on the walkway, and voila, the white cat has found a new bed. Today, it was joined by its friend. I'm so glad people walk past, leaving them in peace.

G had her 4get-me-not Christmas party in the afternoon. As she'd had bad news from the clinic, I offered to drop her. It was the only time I left the flat.
