Storm Something or Other

Another rainy day, another storm name. It has been horrible today, wet, cold, dark. I know the East Coast had the least of it, too.

I spent the day preparing for Andrew's visit and preparing for tomorrows gathering. Needless to say, Faither didn't start his baking journey on the cake. It's ready for decoration. Everything else is prepared, too. Exciting.

The bad news is that Liam is ill again and can't come tomorrow. Sadly, it could be Covid. It's that ruddy curse again. This was to be his pre Christmas visit with the baba. Fingers crossed, he is better quickly. No one else gets it, and he can rearrange holidays and travel...... what's the chances?!

I'm off to a corner to swear loudly.
