It’s 19:49 and no trees have fallen down so far so that’s a good start.

H and I braved the storms for a Dog walk, and bought the Christmas tree. I pulled up the manky old carpet from the landing, then fitted new garage lights ( an amazing improvement over the piss poor efforts that were there before).

Sadly the thing I can’t fix is my Gibson Les Paul, it needs a new nut ( white thing at the end of the neck). I could have a go but I’ve never done one before and this is not the guitar to get wrong ! So it’s going to the menders…
