Stormy Weather

We were supposed to be meeting up with Sarah, Jay, Mary & Keith for lunch today, but the current storm put the kibosh on that! It's been rainy all day and super windy here in Brum; at one point we had to run around the garden collecting recycling after our bin blew over. To be honest I was quite glad we ended up not going out, as I still have a little of the cold lingering and I have first day period pains, so I was quite happy to nestle into my blanket again. This evening we got a surprise knock on the door and it was a taxi driver asking if I could help get my neighbour into her house. For her privacy I won't say much more, but I must admit that I have been quite worried since I left her with her daughter and friend. I do hope she's OK.
