Backblipped Sunday 8th December

Took Phin to Dalkeith in the morning and bumped into an old friend I hadn’t seen for ages. We swapped numbers after a rather long chat whilst Phin stood patiently waiting fur us to carry on.

Home for a quick shower and to get my overnight case packed as I’m headed to Stobo castle overnight with my friend Susan.

She came round for lunch before we headed off leaving Mr PHL with Phin and her dog Scoobs. Took a slightly different route through the hills which allowed us to bypass Peebles and arrive earlier than planned.

Our room was lovely with 2 huge beds and a bathroom almost as big as my bathroom. Didn’t raid us long to suit up and head to the hot tubs. We slightly overstayed the recommended 15 minutes as it was just lovely sitting in the half light and then headed to the cocktail bar for a sneaky wee cocktail.

We got showered and changed before dinner where we both enjoyed rather tasty steaks before returning to the cocktail bar for a couple of drinks.

Ended up staying up quite late chatting into the night once we got back to the room.
