Backblipped Sunday 8th December

Woke in good time to head to breakfast where Susan enjoyed a massive plate of scrambled eggs with mushrooms whilst I ended up with a single fried egg on toast. I thought I’d ordered two but I decided I could always get more toast if I was still hungry which I wasn’t!

Collected our purses and headed to reception to check out and pay for our stay before heading to the pool to swim a few lengths. I managed 10 25m lengths before a wee stint in the sauna and steam room. Susan joined me and we went back to the hot tubs for a bit before a tasty fruit smoothie in the atrium. The obligatory visit to the shop before going back to change out of our costumes and robes.

I then discovered I’d worn my swimsuit inside out all morning. Daftie.

Put the bags in the car and enjoyed a delicious two course lunch before Susan brought us back to the house. We took a different new route home which was also much quicker than our usual route through Peebles.

Dropped a parcel off at the lockers and picked up gammon steaks for dinner. A lovely hot bath set be up for a good nights sleep.
