Lights
A bit of an EB today. I had some good ideas as to what I could use as a photo but all came to naught, for a variety of reasons.
Some sort of post-storm, apocalyptic landscape was my first idea, but Kendal got away lightly, and a few twigs and leaves on the ground didn’t really capture the atmosphere I was after.
Then I thought I’d do something at Panto rehearsal. However, my total involvement this afternoon was walking from the back of the hall, up on to the stage and into the wings. Twice. Naturally, it was a polished performance (though I struggled with my motivation at times) but hardly blipworthy.
Back home, I remembered there was a really interesting bit of topiary around the corner. With the lights on it for Xmas, it would look spectacular. Except there were no lights on it this year. A picture of a dark tree against a dark night sky just wasn’t going to cut it.
In a last effort to get something original (rather than another guitar photo) I popped down into town. The main Xmas lights were a bit uninspiring but I was quite taken with these which were in Elephant Yard. Some judicious framing and editing and I was reasonably happy with the end result.
Will try harder tomorrow…
