Noir Charlie

Just a bit of fun today with some rather extreme (for me) edits in LR and Charlie as my somewhat willing model.  Of course, Jax was concerned that there might be treats involved so he kept sticking his nose in the frame which just served to irritate Charlie.  And that is the fun of photographing pets who are not perfectly trained.  Anyway, I'm happy with the way this turned out.

We had a great virtual dinner with Peg last night, and a lovely long FT visit with my parents this morning.  Then a walk on the Lane with Jax.  On our return, trip Jax spotted three dogs being walked way down the lane and he was, as usual, very focused on them.  He didn't bark or lung or act like a jerk, but they had his undivided attention.  Freeze dried chicken won the day, though, and we continued on to our house without incident.  He likes other dogs but is definitely reactive when he is on leash.  

Hubs is watching the F1 race - the last of the season.  Jax is curled up on the sofa, but keeping a watchful eye on the cat who is keeping an eye on all the birds at the feeder...Life on the Lane.

Meeting up with some good friends for dinner tonight which will be very fun.
