Oranges
TSM and Ms R are in competition to see who can eat the most. They are everywhere: in bags, boxes, bowls and bicycle helmets. Okay I made the last one up, but we are awash with oranges, clementines and satsumas.
I decided to blip them in pyramid formation but they were a bugger to balance and it took me ages to get them like this. Then I realised it would have been easier to arrange them like snooker balls and photograph them from above. Doh.
We did a big (for us) shop today, cooked an enormous brunch, and then had The Yoga Mama over for coffee. The Dizzle and Ms R came in from shopping and we had a seriously nice hour of hanging out en famille.
The Dizzle and I invented a new scent for men based on WD4O but we can’t decide where the celebrity endorsement should be pitched; the target demographic is older men and The Dizzle suggested we should call it WD60+. I wondered whether Jeremy Clarkson might do it but he is a tax evading plonker. Problems, problems. So difficult to launch a new product these days. And anyway, as The Dizzle pointed out, in our house it would be overwhelmed by the smell of oranges …
Side note: four years ago today saw the first person in Britain to get a covid vaccine. TSM and I were involved in the rollout in Surrey. Can’t believe it was already that long ago …
