I mentioned yesterday that I would be seeing Aki Kaurismäki's film Leningrad Cowboys go America. It was just as zany, wild and musical as I had remembered. If you want to see and hear the Leningrad Cowboys in action search for them on YouTube, there's plenty of music and variety on show there.
If you haven't seen a Kaurismäki film there's a five and a half minute song and film on YouTube, Thru the Wire, which gives a good feel of what his films are like, as well as featuring a few of the Leningrad Cowboys.
