The remains of the day

What a gift of a day we had. It was wonderful to be bathed in sunshine for several hours.
It was a bit busy on the road that passes the end of our drive. The whole Mull and Iona is having fibre-optic cable laid alongside every road and the very efficient workers have reached our little corner of the island. Having watched the speed that they work at as I returned home this afternoon,  I don’t think it will be long until they have moved on to the next stretch of road.
Evening was approaching while Bertie and I were out for our afternoon walk but the light level was still good enough to take this shot while we enjoyed the view.
